I am so over dramatic (I think)

I had some discharge earlier and it was a weird color. It was brown and had kind of an organgy redish pink tint to it and I totally freaked out. I started balling my eyes out and called my mommy friend and she honestly laughed at me. She told me not to worry, it happened to her all the time. She said if you start cramping or feeling weird to call the doctor then but don't make it an bigger deal than it is. I haven't seen color come out of there since my last period in the beginning of October, it just really scared me. Does anyone else experience this? Am I really being over dramatic?

Yep definitely nothing to worry over. If you are bleeding bright red blood enough to fill a pad and cramping then you can worry. Pregnancy is strange, try not to worry too much.

Have you been intimate in last few days, or had a vaginal exam? Those can cause some spotting.

I don't think I'd worry too much. as PP said, if you're cramping and filling a pad an hr with blood, you should be okay. If you're really worried though, call up your doctor, they can tell you if they need to see you and if it's something concerning!

Brown is usually old blood so if you had sex or pelvic exam it could be from that. Call OB if you're worried or if it gets worse

Being pregnant so scary! But I had heard after intercourse and such you would probably see spotting but I haven't done anything like that since the beginning of my pregnancy. It didn't look like normal spotting. But it was just one glob when I wiped and I haven't seen it since or felt any different and I always try to refrain from calling the doc bc I hate her receptionist staff and nursing staff. But I am def mentioning it at my appointment next week.
