Nose issues

my now 5 week old has always been an abnormal breather. But now along with his fast breathing he is getting a stuffy nose. At first I thought it was overly dry from the heaters in the house so used a cool mist humidifier an that only made it worse. I've tried sucking stuff out of this nose and barely do I actually get anything out of it.

Suggestions on what to do? The poor guy

Have you tried a saline solution/spray in conjunction with sucking it? It moistens the gunk in the nose and makes it come out better.
