Sharp Pains in Tail Bone

For the past several days I've been experiencing sharp pains in my tail bone along the side of my left butt cheek. It's very painful when I'm going from a seated to standing position or vice versa. Any clues as to what's causing this? Is there anything I can do to stop it? TIA

Agree, sounds like sciatic nerve pain. Not much you can do since it's due to where baby's sitting. But, as always, it's a good idea to double check with your doctor at your next appointment.
