Old timey girl names....help!

We love names with a old times feel but that you don't hear all the time but don't find it weird when you do! I love the name Eliza but am a little scared that it's getting more popular. Other names we really like are Jessa, Kate, Ameila (which I have sadly taken off the list) Audrey, Elise, Evelyn, Gwen and Jane. Any other ideas, I'd love to add to the list. We aren't finding out sex and knew our boy name before we ever even started trying to conceive and are having a hard time agreeing on a girls name!

    Oooh I love Sadie Florence!
  • The only ones I think aren't really becoming too popular right now are Jane and Gwen, maybe Evelyn. The rest are growing in popularity quite a bit. Does your husband like any of those three?

Thank you! Florence is after my maternal grandmother. Sadie is after my best friend whose middle name is Sarah. We absolutely adore this name.

Help us think of a middle name for her!
  • Love the names you have picked out, we also have been leaning more traditional style. I think if you're looking for less popular then I would stick with Gwen, Jane, or Jessa.

I've seen a lot of people leaning towards Amelia, Audrey, and Evelyn on here lately. Good luck though! All are great choices!

  • Try researching an online ancestry website too. We found a TON of good ideas in our family trees.
