Anyone have experience with Placenta Encapsulation?

I went out with a friend last night who started discussing the benefits with me. I've started to look into it a little bit myself and it supposedly is great for milk supply and helping with the effects of postpartum depression. There is ONE lady in my area with experience in doing this and she comes highly recommended. Looking at prices it is not near what I thought it would be. I had never thought about anything like this before but she has my wheels spinning. If any of you know of anyone who has done this or have done it yourself, what was your experience like?
