Re: ***2IF Grad Check-In 2/28/15***

  • I noticed some of you have not been very active on TB lately. If you do log in, hope you will all keep in touch and keep us updated!

    AFM...

    1. How many weeks along are you?   17w6d - Team Purple!

    2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)?  Still dealing with placenta previa and some spotting.  Hoping the MFM doctor is right and it will clear up soon.  My next appointment is the a/s on March 9.  MFM office told me to allot 3 hours for the appointment!  This pregnancy is so different - I am spending a lot more time at doctor's offices.

    3. How are you feeling lately?  Been having some groin / hip pain that is a little frustrating.  Hoping it eases up tonight and I get some more sleep.

    4. QOTW:  What made you smile this week?  During our bedtime story cuddle, DD told me she wanted to say goodnight to the babies.  She lifted up my shirt, peered into my belly button and said - Mom, I can't see them - it's too dark!

    3.
How are you feeling lately? Nesting! I am going nuts lately getting things organized & ready. Physically, not terrible. Baby moves like crazy a lot which I am enjoying since this will be my last baby.

    4.
QOTW: What made you smile this week? My 4 year old got student of the month at school (pre-k)- the theme was honesty, so we are very proud of him!

    My History:
    Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara
Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010
Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish
    Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel
Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!

    1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.

How many weeks along are you?
    40w2d - overdue!!!

    2.
Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)?
On Wednesday did the battery of weekly tests, everything looks good. I had been having regular contractions and OB thought I'd deliver on Wednesday or Thursday.... Obviously not. She didn't think I'd made it to my next appointment, which is 7:30am on Monday. On Monday if I haven't delivered, she's going to do a membrane sweep. If that doesn't work, induction on Thursday. So there's a light at the end of the tunnel...

    3.
    How are you feeling lately?
Awful. The pain in my pelvic bone nearly drops me at times. Sometimes I can't even walk. Im fat. Uncomfortable. Overdue. Im just ready for it to be over!

    4.
QOTW: What made you smile this week?
DD made me a bracelet out of beads. I love it.

I've attached a picture of the bump for reference on how uncomfortable I am! How I'm able to be upright is a mystery!

My kiddos have been so much more snuggly this week. Teething (DS) and growth spurt (both DS and DD) has them a bit fussy, but super snuggly, and I'm soaking it up :)

  • 13 weeks and baby is a boy. We did NIPT and all came back low risk so that all made me smile of course.

Otherwise feeling tired and sick but finally started to feel like this may all be a success.
    Me: 32, DH: 33
    DS #1: April 2010
DS #2: July 2015 (preemie born at 31 weeks) - our little miracle conceived through ART - unexplained secondary infertility/adenomyosis
  • @mommalawyer You look great! Just looks like a basketball under your shirt! BUT I know how uncomfortable you have to feel right now!

@lawmom747 The nesting will kick in for you, trust me! I just want to get things organized before I get too big & really don't want to do anything. I think it also is because I have had the shower already, so I didn't want to look at the stuff piled in my living room anymore! LOL

  • 1. I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow.

    2. No real updates. Had an appointment last week and scheduled my anatomy scan for 3/30. Hurry up, time!

    3. I'm doing pretty decent overall. Nothing worth complaining about.

    4. Something that made me smile hmm...DS makes me laugh all the time but I can't remember any specific stories at the moment. Oh we had a new person start at work last week after having an open position for a couple of months so that made me quite happy. Some reduced work stress is always welcomed.
    November 2010 - 10.5 week loss  o:)
    October 2011 - DS (7)  <3
    July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)  o:)
    August 2015 - DD (3)  <3
    April 2018 - 5 week loss o:)
