Preemie night feeding schedule

Hi everyone! Parents of late term preemies, when did you go longer than the 4 hour feeding schedule at night? Our boy reaches 6 weeks old yesterday (1 week adjusted) and is nearly double his birth weight. Our lactation consultant said to keep him on 3 hrs during the day & 4 hours at night feeding schedule, but he's doing so well, I'm just wondering when we could move to on demand at night (soooo tired ;))? Thanks for any advice!

    Ask your pediatrician... My twins were born at 36 weeks and we just started letting them sleep as long as they want at night at 6 weeks. The longest I have gotten out of them is 4.5 hours but I'm hopeful! I make sure they are getting their goal for the day in formula that is based on their weight and given to us by our pediatrician.

    Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!
