Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW sucks!

Hello ladies. I've been pregnant 6 times (once with twins) buy have only had one live birth (my daughter, now 2). My husband and I have never "tried" for a baby before so I've never had to do this whole TWW process.

I'm currently only 4 dpo so I still have a while before I should test even though I'll probably start around 8 dpo. How is everyone getting through this wait?! I'm normally such a patient person so this eagerness to find out ASAP is new to me.

    HPT Accuracy DPO
    10 dpo : 35%
    11 dpo : 51%
    12 dpo : 62%
    13 dpo : 68%
    14 dpo : 74%
    15 dpo : 80%
    16 dpo : 88%
    17 dpo : 92%
    18 dpo : 99%

I would not waste a test at 8 dpo personally

^^agree! Considering implantation doesn't occur until 6-12 DPO, and then another 3 days after implantation to have enough hcg in your system to turn a test they very earliest would be 9, which is still wildly unlikely. Try to tough it out for another couple days especially if you know a bfn at 8dpo is gonna bring you down.

I have a list of the HPT accuracy rates on my fridge to remind me not to test early. But I'm so impatient that I will probably start trying anyway. My hubby bought a huge pack of the internet cheapies because he knew how impatient I'd be and didn't want me spending a ton of money when I shouldn't be anyway.

Same when I was TTC my first two. However a negative pregnancy test can be brutal. I rather wait to test when I know there is some hope of a positive.

I'm sorry for all of your losses. That is heartbreaking. :(

I'd wait a little longer than 8DPO-- implantation takes place anywhere from 7-10DPO.

I'm Not Trying/Not Preventing. So I usually just test once a month. I'm still breast feeding so my cycles are long & unpredictable. Keep yourself busy & avoid POAS early!

I actually got so busy for a while with homework (yay thesis!) that I forgot about it. Until my lower abdomen started cramping slightly. My heart skipped a beat! Implantation cramping maybe? I think this has given me a little more hope/patience to wait until later to start testing. :) Keeping my fingers crossed!

Implantation at 4dpo is highly unlikely.

As others have said, 8dpo is pretty early, but I totally understand the impatience. Try to wait as long as possible to avoid the disappointment! Good luck!

Glad to hear I'm not the only person struggling through grad school and TTC! Best wishes to you! Hope you get that BFP! 7 more days before I can test!

I have been having some mild cramping almost daily - I am wondering if this is due to the 200mg progesterone suppositories or do you think this is a sign that AF is coming?  I was on Lupron for over a year prior to IUI #1 and BC for years prior to that (to control endo pain) so I honestly don't remember what it felt like before getting AF.  Anyone relate?

That is nice of him.  And I are the 2ww is so hard.  I am just thankful that this month I didn't even try at all so a lot of times has passed without me stressing out
