Darkening/pain around belly button

I'm a first time mom and I have been noticing the skin around my belly button darkening (almost looks like it's bruising). I also have some pain (like when you are bruised) behind and around my belly button. Anyone else experiencing this or know if this is normal?

I forgot about that, but yeah I did have the bruising around my belly button with my first two and I think I remember it being a little tender.
