Recommendation for OB/Midwife? (Oak Forest)

Hi! I'm 6 1/2 weeks along with my 3rd and looking for a new OB or midwife. I'm thinking of using a midwife from the Women's Specialists of Houston, but their office is 25 minutes away without traffic. That's a lot of time spent in the car! I have also heard that their wait time is very long. Are there any midwife/OB collaborative practices for hospital births closer to Oak Forest/Heights area? If not, can anyone recommend a good OB that has a low intervention rate? Thanks!

Hi there! I also live in the heights & I use CPM Holly Shearman. She owns & operates West Houston Birth Center & she's great. Attentive, personable, and the birth center is warm & comfortable. I transferred from my OB because Women's Hospital where he delivered has a c section rate of 28% which is one of the highest in the city. HTH and good luck!
