Ugh yeah I have one pair of jeans that I can fit into and I've been wearing them over and over. I am not a leggings or yoga pants person at all, I love jeans too much! But going thrift shopping today and hoping I find some maternity jeans! Or even jeans a couple sizes up. I got a bunch of maternity clothes from someone we know but the bottoms were mostly Capri's and shorts so that won't help till like may lol
I purchased a few items, I had to get some summer clothes even though it's winter here in Alberta, went on trip to Mexico. 2 pairs of black pants 1 pair of grey pants 3 tops that were good for work 4 tank tops 2 t shirts 2 shorts I have few dresses as well. My boobs got quite big and early on so new tops were a must.
I bought 6 pairs of jeans from the Gap online when they were on super sale for 12.50 each, and bought about 10 maternity tanks from old navy and 5 shirts which cost me $60. That's it, and I will not be buying more. I spent a total of like $135 and plan to list the clothes on eBay when I am done to get some of my money back. The jeans regularly were about $65 each and sell for around $15-$20 a pair on eBay used so I think I can make back what I spent. That's the only way I can justify buying maternity clothes.
Macy's maternity section sells the same brands as the maternity stores in the mall and as the end of the season nears their clearance is usually about 75% off. I got a couple pairs of jeans for about 12-17 bucks and some sweaters and tops for around 7. Exact same clothes I got in October for full price in the maternity store and spent like 200.
Re: Anyone else really stubborn about buying maternity clothes?
