Hi I am twenty one weeks and this is my second child .I have started having false contractions and I feel like it's too soon for me to be having this . I didn't have it with my son until I 1 week before he was born. I am having a girl and so far this pregnancy has been awful. I was and still am sick to the point where I had to take a medical leave from work and was going to the hospital every two days! My contractions are all over the place . They have not been at a consist time apart and only lasting about 45 second. They Are painful! I was just wondering if anyone was experiencing this as well?

I'm 24 weeks with my first baby and I think I have Braxton Hicks contractions every once in a while. My tummy gets really hard for less than a minute and then softens back up. It isn't painful though, it just feels a little weird. I've heard that laying down for a few minutes and drinking a glass of water helps. If you're scared though, don't hesitate to call your doctor.

I'm having them too and I'm at 25 weeks. My doctor told me as long as I'm not getting more than 4 an hour I am fine. Call your doctor though! You don't want to take any chances, and they will be more than happy to answer your questions.
