I'm sending my apologies for dropping the ball on the FTM check-in that I run. I started with good intentions, but Thursdays often get away from me. Now that I'm on the heartbeat and contraction monitors 3x/day, I go from the monitor at 6 am to my MFM visit w/ u/s starting between 7:30 & 8:30, at which point, I'm already late to log into work, and spend the rest of the day playing catch up. I'm thinking of moving the check-in to Fridays.
The other thing is that I dread copying the participant lists into a new thread. The new character limits at TB are frustratingly hard to predict. I wish I could think of another way - the whole thing makes it feel like more and more of a chore.
Anywho, that's it. It got away from me Thursday, I had every intention of doing it Friday, but just forgot, and didn't log in all weekend.
Frankly, I think splitting myself between two communities, I don't feel as connected to either. Or maybe I'm in the 7 weeks in a hospital bed funk. There are an awful lot of threads here that I can't relate to, because, I'm just not having that kind of pregnancy.
And, here's an awesome thing - they just announced a code red on the 8th floor of another tower. I'm pretty sure that's a fire. I hope its small, because its snowing pretty heavily outside, which will delay FD response times. I feel pretty safe on the 2nd floor of a non-adjacent tower, but still, this place could be mayhem soon. Oh well, I'm ambulatory, and my door's already closed, so, I'm cool. Oh, I can hear the sirens now. This totally makes me miss being a firefighter. I'd so much rather be trudging throw snow in turnout gear right now, than laying in bed, trying to see what type of engine the local company has... eh... it's an E-one. I was hoping for American LaFrance or Pierce... .whatevs, taxpayers never appreciate the more expensive makers. You'll all just pay more for it in maintenance, down the line. Not that I'm telling you what to vote for, or how to spend your money, but a fire engine is an investment, meant to protect your home and family.... alright, local taxpayers not reading this? Alright. So long as I've made myself clear.
Hmmm... they only rolled one engine. Either they were already on standby for the snow storm, or they know this is not a big call.
Ok, enough with the play by play, people who probably couldn't be less interested. Wish I could check out their equipment. It's been so long since I left my company, I'll bet they make all kinds of cool equipment now that they didn't have back then.
My life was so much more interesting, once.

Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions
Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!! 1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!
