Do you think there is still hope?

I just had my first beta today after 3 days off positive frer's. The level cane back at 6.3. My RE didn't sound very hopeful but everything I've read online says anything over a 5 is good & the important thing is whether or not it's doubling. I go back in Wednesday for another draw. Should I prepare myself for the worst or is there still hope? Anyone have any experiences like this?

Congrats - a positive means you can get pregnant (and says a lot about your future chances of success). A 6.3 is very low, but you're right, the important thing is whether it's doubling. It very well could be a chemical (all this means is that the baby stopped growing early on). I would prepare yourself either way - and don't beat yourself up. This is a step in the right direction - many women on this board have never gotten a positive.
