Outgrowing car seat-help

My little man has a seated height of 10" and my Britax infant seat has a max height of 11".
Crud
Ok so I need a convertible seat.
But my stroller, and all I've googled, say it's only safe for 6mobths and up. So how do I carry my little man in the grocery store or anywhere??

    Can you wear him? Or just carry him?

    Are you sure he's outgrowing the infant seat...?

    Some grocery stores have infant seats attached to the carts.

    The 11 inches that britax states is the seated shoulder height (bum to shoulders) not overall seated height (bum to top of head). The car seat is outgrown when the baby reaches the stated max standing height, the max weight limit, or has less than 1" of car seat shell above the head (whichever comes first). Check your manual for the limits.
