At hospital!

I know I've been doing an awful lot of whining about how the baby is never coming and today is my actual due date. Well, I had a totally normal afternoon. My brother and sister in law were over with my niece. I felt fine. About 6 o'clock I walked on the treadmill for 40 minutes. Not even a half hour later, my mucus plug comes out while going to the bathroom and contractions begin. We still ate dinner (lovely that my husband made) and then quickly departed to drop the dog off at my in laws and head to the hospital.
I haven't been seen yet by the on call doc. I'll update once I know how far I am dilated and if I'm being admitted.
I'm watching my contractions on the machine. It's pretty neat despite the pain. I don't know how high the number goes but my record so far is 106. Yeeoooww

Sorry! I updated in birth announcements but not here. Henry was born 2/15/15 at 3:52 am. 8lbs on the nose 21 inches long. Quick labor! Progressed from 1 cm at 8:30 arrival to 4 cms just one hour later after walking around the hallway as recommended by my doc. I was given an epidural around 1, started pushing at 2. Things got dicey as baby wasn't coming out and heart rate was dropping so they did resort to a vacuum removal. Later found the cord had been wrapped around his neck.
He was unscathed though. We have a beautiful healthy baby boy and are leaving the hospital today
