I know that we have talked a lot about the symptoms, aches and pains of being pregnant, and it will obviously be worth it once we see our little ones, but I'm wondering if anyone else has found hidden benefits of pregnancy? For example, this morning I was reading a book in the bathtub, and I realized that my tummy formed an island for my book and prevented it from getting wet. So, what are some hidden benefits that you have found?

Also, I can't lift anything heavy, so my husband does all of the heavy lifting, and even goes out of his way to carry in the groceries. Not too bad!

I love the extra kindness of strangers and smiles from grandmas.
I love my husband doing grocery shopping, laundry, cooking, and bathing our other little ones with only minimal huffing and puffing.
And yes I love feeling guilt free for having that second ice cream sad which :-)

Ppl seem to be more courteous when they realize you're preg. Not always... But at the store the other night, I had a lady almost run over me in the isle... After that i unzipped my coat & exposed my oversized belly (I guess before I just looked fat), the same lady saw my belly later on in the store & gave me the "right if way." It's not really right that they'd be nice to someone preg over someone overweight, but I was astonished at the difference.
My in-laws babies me which is always a plus.
I get more invitations from family to come by the house and eat.
My fiancé is in the palm of my hand. He is so sweet. We live in Nc, we are technically snowed in. I wanted some pancakes. It took him about 15 mins to get out the driveway.
Also I have always had a very weak immune system and tend to get sick or run down super easy. With pregnancy I have literally never felt better!!
My skin has also cleared up and my hair is thicker and longer! I've been lucky to have had a great pregnancy!
I haven't seen strangers treat me differently. I have had one tell my husband congrats when she saw me waiting nearby, but no doors being held or seats being given up. That would have been nice on numerous occasions.
I also enjoy how people open doors for you and move out of your way.
Everyone please knock on wood!!!- for the entire pregnancy and have actually been able to eat as much and anything I can and keep it in (besides MS times or the fact my stomach is now squished and smaller then 1st and 2nd tri) but other then that I'm enjoying it. It's been about 3 years bring diagnoised and it has been rough!
