We are negative for Trisomies 13, 18, & 21!!! I was terrified since I have a history of miscarriages due to Triploidy. AND this little nugget is a GIRL! DH & I are on cloud nine!

I didn't know the blood test could tell sex as well, that's exciting to know so early.

They are actually looking for abnormalities with the sex chromosomes as well (such as Turners syndrome or Kleinfelters syndrome). It's a great bonus to find out the sex after getting negative results! :-)

Congrats!!! And I agree that knowing the sex is a bonus, especially that early on.  (We had the same test and are also having a baby girl!)
