  • @Famous4lyfe‌ it takes a biiiig person to never give helpful insight and to only give rude snarky unhelpful advice. That being said here's some helpful advice before you worry about my panties and where they may be. You should worry about your head bc I have a feeling it may be in your own "ass crack" as you so eloquently put it and may be causing you your issues. Okay thanks!!

Ladies, may I just request that we all be nice to one another too? Don't let someone else get you all riled up:) Everything is different for everybody. Let's show one another some respect.

    Are you the board police?
  • Yeah, come on guise. The Bump is all rainbows, unicorns, and puppy farts now. No more snark allowed.

You forgot about the glitter. I like all the sparkly things.
Oops! The glitter is in the puppy farts.
  • My first child i believe it started around week 6 now im 5w 5d super super nauseous also have influenza so just plain miserable but word to the wise zofran great anti nausea medicine if you haven't told your coworkers
  • 6w6d I had no idea week 6 was bad. That explains why I feel like crap.
  • @Famous4lyfe‌ No. I'm not the board police. Just my opinion that we should all treat one another nicely. No need to pick a fight on a pregnancy board.
  • I am 4 weeks 4 days, I know it's early but were people feeling sick at this point, if you knew?! I have had zero symptoms so far and it's making me worry x

@whittony‌ I am 4w4d too...just found out actually after I missed a period. This is my first, and I have no idea what to actually expect, other than what I have read so far (which is first trimester morning sickness and doesn't always mean morning).

I noticed maybe 2 or 3 times that my sense of smell was keener than normal, and also 2-3 small slight wave of nausea. However, the same night I took my test, later that night I woke up with chills, heartburn, and nausea...it went away after I had an unpleasant #2, and I have a sneaky suspicion all this was due to fatty bratwurst for dinner--will be avoiding that.

I would be interested to hear if other people had symptoms as early as week 4 and 5, since I'm there now--and if it really does get worse in week6. I mean, if it's terrible in w4 & w5 is it even possible to get much worse?
  • Some should really start an Official Symptoms thread for all the symptom stuff to go in. Tots better to have it all in one place than 6 random threads about nausea...
  • @whittony‌ i only had sore boobs that early but it felt more like my period was coming. Now my boobs hurt much worse in a different way. I didnt feel much else until 5w
  • I've at 7 weeks and have been consistently disinterested in food, dizzy, exhausted and had very sore breasts. However I have found the nausea with vomiting has gotten a little more under control simply because I have found ways to deal with it (ie never let my stomach get empty, simple carbs all the time and very small meals.)
  • I am 6 wks 6 days and have been feeling nauseous and dizzy for days. No throwing up yet. In my last two pregnancies I started morning sickness at 7 or 8 weeks. I only threw up once the last time (and none the first pregnancy). I feel fortunate, but I hate feeling lousy!

  • I'm 5w5d and being a FTM, I had the same question! I've mostly just be constipated (ugh) and that makes
me feel nauseous...but only one night of actual vomiting. I think every pregnancy is different for every woman. Just taking it a day at a time...and for all the moms that know what's ahead, I don't get offended! Feel free to smack some reality into me if I start to complain
  • With my first, symptoms of fatigue and nausea were most overwhelming around week 8. Aside from PP recovery, I found the first trimester to be the toughest of all mainly due to RLP and fatigue. There are a lot of tough parts throughout pregnancy, but you learn to work with it to suit your comfort level best. Every pregnancy is different, so you certainly might not experience any major increase in nasty symptoms in the first trimester at all!

  • 6w has been the bane of my existence this far. The nausea.........just have to remind myself it's all worth it ;)
  • I'm at week 7 and almost find things have improved only because my standard for comfort and energy has decreased based on the exhaustion and nausea of the preceding weeks. Also I've developed some great coping strategies!
