I have a thought or two

I've noticed several times that posters I recognize have been the last ones to comment on a thread but then I open the thread and their posts aren't visible. If you click on the user's posting history you can see what they said though. I think that's what's happening to me for at least some of my comments because me commenting on a discussion doesn't move the thread to the top of the board. I don't understand how they have time to try to sneakily silence certain users but they can't figure out how to protect the personal information of their users. Also, I'm still pissed that they banned AmyG* and I received my first warning today. I found it amusing so I thought I would share. They didn't include my name. Just "Dear ,"

Dear , This is your first warning, regarding the following post: Animated Cheeseburger image You are being warned for a violation of the TOU, which states: There are rules of conduct that you are required to follow when you use the Site. Re: I have a thought or two

  • I don't understand how they can realistically enforce something like "inhibits someone's enjoyment." Unless someone literally reported your cheeseburger. Which would be silly, because. CHEESEBURGER. How can they even tell anyone's enjoyment is being inhibited? Shenanigans. I would like an explanation for this....

  • I totes don't understand why someone reported that! The animated cheeseburger was so helpful to the OP.
  • How do you know what qualifies as "inhibiting someone else's enjoyment"? That original post inhibited my enjoyment of this site and TB didn't do anything about it.
  • Is the animated cheesburger the Big Mac gif??? That cracked me up. You should have gotten a trophy for your ingenuity.

  • Now I want a cheese burger.

This is the go-to warning now. I got this earlier for saying I enjoy sarcasm to someone. As far as the last comment thing, it means the person has been flagged as a troll. None of their posts will "bump" a thread and they disappear.
  • Personally I thought your animated cheeseburger was awesome @maplebar‌ . It inspired my lunch plans.
  • I just don't understand how an animated cheeseburger is offensive in any way. I mean... Maybe to the chick-fil-a cows.
  • I stared at that cheeseburger for a good few minutes. It was trippy. I find it offensive that they removed a source of amusement.
  • I got a warning for commenting, "yes and yes"
