Kiinde Bottles

Any second or third time moms out there every use these Kiinde bottle system from pumping?? my sister found them and they seem to have good reviews! just looking for some good ways to pump and store my milk for the little one when i go back to work.

Re: Kiinde Bottles

  • Just looked it up... looks kinda neat!
  • Loading the player...
  • They're brand new, so there probably aren't many first hand experiences quite yet. I got the starter set so I'm going to give them a whirl, but not going to invest quite yet.

  • I ordered the started set that included the bottle/bag warmer-- seemed like a good deal.
I read that the bags are great and work easily with the latch bottle attachment so there is no transferring milk from the bag to the bottle. Not sure how the nipple is though-- I ordered additional low and medium flow ones. The bags are more expensive than others and are smaller... I think they only hold 5 oz. but I read that they are very thick and don't have any leaking problems. It's worth a try though!

  • I am also trying them out too when the baby comes
  • @amooraxo‌ I want to say they have an 8oz top if not on baby's r us or target try amazon. My sister has originally seen this product on zulily.com so I'm going to keep my eyes out on there again for a deal!
  • If you order the starter set from target, they give you a couple pretty good coupons that can be stacked.

I put the storage system and pump converter attachment things on my registry because the storage bags got great reviews and because it looks like a really good way to organize them (my friend kept freezing her milk standing up and then she ran into space issues in her fridge and would constantly have to sort through a dozen bags to find out which was the oldest so I'm trying to avoid that). I really want to use Doc Brown's glass bottles so I think I'll skip the Kiind bottles and warmer for now (I totally see the convenience factor but how do they reduce air intake? Maybe I'm missing something).

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm challenged - you're apparently supposed to squeeze the air out of the pouch after thawing and warming. AND you warm the pouch before snapping in the bottle so I'll definitely throw the warmer onto my registry.

I love the idea behind this bottle warmer

It uses like a hot water bath to warm up milk and food so as to preserve the nutrients that can get destroyed from other forms of heating.
I'm definitely excited for this kit and to try everything :)

AND... the kit is such a good deal- $100 when the warmer alone is $70
