Our little one began drinking whole milk shortly after her first birthday and I'm wondering if she's getting enough. I have read online that children her age should be drinking 16 to 24 ounces of milk a day. Right I give her whole milk at breakfast lunch and dinner and she's drinking between6 to 8 ounces a day. However I am still nursing her when she wakes up and before she goes to bed. She has also occasionally been asking to nurse in the afternoon as well and since we're new to whole milk I have been allowing her to. She also receives water (sometimes diluted juice) twice a day with snacks. Between the nursing and milk at meals would you say that she's getting enough? She has had no problems drinking the milk and doesn't seem to be getting dehydrated so I assume she's getting enough fluids, but any thoughts would be appreciated!
