Exclusive pumping

So it looks like my DD might not be able to ever latch due to double tongue tied. We will see a specialist in a couple days. Here is my questions 1) How much do I need to pump to just maintain her daily needs? I pump four times a day now and hVe a large freezer stash already 2) How do I cut my one night pump without killing my supply and boobs? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm an EP...started at 7 weeks and am now at 5.5 months. 

When I first started I was told to pump no less than 8 times a day to keep up supply. Even though LO slept through the night at 2 months, I would wake up about 3am to pump, and then go back to bed until he woke about 5:30-6am. That way his bottle was ready first thing in the morning. 

Kellymom has a great tool for calculating how much to give at each feeding, if I remember correctly, if LO eats 8 times a day it is about 2-3oz each feeding.

I dropped the 3am pump when LO was about 3.5 months old, so I would pump about 10:30pm, and again about 6am. The first couple mornings were painful, but that only lasted a couple days.

Now I'm down to pumping 5 times a day, and go longer at night. Last pump is between 8-9pm, first pump is 5am.

Thanks for the information. I know they only need three ounces till six months old and may drop after that. I hope to pump enough here in the beginning and have enough surplus to quit sooner than later, if that's possible.

I did similar to PP. I pumped every 2-3 hours and then when baby started STTN I slowly spaced out my night pumps to 4 hours, the 5 hours etc every 3 days until I had cut out the night pump. I tried going cold turkey and was too encouraged and painful for me (also waking up in a lake) so easing into it worked better for me. Also, I will warn you, baby STTN at 3 months but then at 4 months started waking again and sucked down most of my supply at night so I wouldn't rush it. But even if you cut out the night pump, you can always go back, there is still milk.
