Speaking of grapes... what's the deal with them? I was eating them at work and one girl told me I shouldn't be eating them when pregnant... so of course I did the only sensible thing and googled the hell out of it and found some controversial things about grapes during pregnancy... what do you girls think?

I guess the resveratol in grapes is bad... not sure... but a few places are staying to keep away from grapes.
From a website:
Risks Associated With Grapes Consumption When Pregnant:
The skin of the black grape may be indigestible for pregnant women, as expecting moms may have altered digestive processes to accommodate the growing fetus. This may cause constipation when pregnant.
Over eating might cause diarrhea.
Some people have allergic reactions to grapes.
Some other potential side effects include stomach upset, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, cough, dry mouth, sore throat, infections, headache, and muscular problems.
Resveratrol in grapes inhibits cytochrome P450 3A4 activity which can cause severe drug toxicity, leading to many health problems during pregnancy.
Sigh... I've been eating grapes. I'm out of them now so I don't have any around, but I'll ask my Dr next week before I buy anymore. Tired of all these things we *maybe* shouldn't have.
Grapes always give me the runs if I eat too many (although I've found that green grapes are the worst from that perspective). Just wanted to share that. Also, I'm not going to add eating grapes to the list of things to worry about!

Let me know what your doctor has to see-- all the information I've found seems to be conflicting. Some say it's ok, others no.
