Well, i just discovered gas x for bloating and it was absolutely miraculous. However, some sources say it is not recommended during pregnancy? Others say it is completely safe. I am conflicted but do take it when i am absolutely miserable.
Otherwise - tons of water, no sweets of any kind, no junk food, and as little bread/pasta as posssible.

My OB put me on collace twice a day because I was having horrible constipation. I have also tried to increase water and decrease carbs. I've been focusing on fruits and veggies. It seems to be helping. My nurse also told me to grab some Metamucil if it's really bad.
track your fiber intake over a couple days. Most people don't get nearly enough fiber in their diets. You should try for 30-35 per day. My fitness pal is a great way to keep track of everything you eat. Upping your fiber will only help to a certain degree if your water intake is not enough either. During pregnancy water needs increase a lot. The usually 8 cups is not enough. I personally do a minimum 40 ounces in the morning from when i get up till noon, 40 from noon to dinner time, and 40 from dinner till like 8 pm ish.
Ground flax seeds are a great way to help combat constipation. You can add them to things you eat like oatmeal or yogurt etc. But again, its important for it to work right to drink the water too.
Substitute all whole grain for the white things you may be eating now. Pasta comes in whole grain. Do brown rice not white. Sweet potatoes are better than regular...if you must do regular eat the skins too. Shredded wheat or bran flakes for cereal. Salad at least once a day. Look at bread labels. Just because it says "wheat" doesn't mean its real fiber rich. Pick high fiber whole grain breads
Thanks all. I'm doing all of these things already. Eat gobs of fiber, avoid carbs, exercise daily, and drink lots of water and still really uncomfortable. Will try Metamucil, it's just hard for me to choke in down, but hate feeling bloated and gross when I am barely pregnant.
If you're already eating lots of soluble fiber (the kind that is in metamucil as well as prunes and apples), drinking lots of water, and exercising (brisk walks at least), then Gas-X for gas, and Activia yogurt and Colace for constipation should be your next steps. I resisted for a long time but shouldn't have. Life is so much better now! One important thing to remember is that these do not replace fiber, water and exercise, i.e. you can't just take a colace a day and expect miracles. (I've learned this the hard way.) Finally, a little bit of caffeine (coffee or black tea) can get things moving.
