Start of labor or not?

Hi ladies,
Ok so I've been uncomfortable for a few days now, last night was probably the worst. Lower back pain, couldn't get comfortable no matter what I did. I had stomach cramps followed by a bowel movement(sorry for tmi), some lose(sorry again). I finally went to sleep.
Woke up today still uncomfortable again had a few stomach cramps, followed by bowel movement(all loose this time) (really really sorry for tmi), and the baby is pretty quite today.
Could this be the start of labor?

Maybe but I've been having the same thing off and on for weeks and here I sit at 40+3 with no baby. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
