RE Visit and THE PLAN

So, I had my 3rd visit with RE today to go over our collaborative tests to decide THE PLAN.
Bloodwork - normal, consistent with PCOS. (I'm now on Metformin ER 1000mg)
HSG - tubes clear, possible tiny polyp - no biggie
DH SA - 4 x the normal amount, motility and morphology - normal.

Check. Check. Check.

He asked me how aggressive I wanted to be... I said VERY. He started talking about IUI and what needs to happen, etc. Ultrasound on CD3-5, Clomid, Trigger Injection, HCG, Progesterone...it was a lot to take in. thank God he wrote it all down!

I'm going to have the talk with DH and see where he stands. He's very firm on not wanting this to be about a science experiment. I want a baby - I don't care how.

Glad you have a plan. Sounds like your results are all good! I'm sure you and YH will be able to agree on a path that you are both comfortable with.

If you are ok with the plan then don't tell DH all the details the IUI entails. All he really has to do is give his deposit. I hope he is ok with giving sperm. Do your meds and whatnot out of his sight then he won't really know all the science experiment stuff.
