Suggestions for tantrums during morning routine?

Hi ladies. My DS1 has ASD. Diagnosed at 24 months and had EI for a year. He is doing great with language, but we are really struggling with behaviors. He goes to preschool now and ever since the December break he has been getting worse and worse with his morning routine. He screams, cries, kicks, and refuses to get dressed. We literally have to force him. It's horrible. I've tried everything, it feels like. Letting him pick his clothes, keeping curtains open so it feels like morning when he wakes, letting him play after, music after, iPad after, etc. he wants to keep his jammies on. The BA at his school is making me a picture schedule soon, too. Anyone else delt with this? Any suggestions? I've tried so many different approaches, and running out of ideas!
