Does anyone have to wait until 10 weeks for first appointment

My first appointment is 2/19 and I will be exactly 11 weeks. My doctors office acted like this was standard. I have had no issues and feeling great so I havent been to worried.

I had my 1st appointment at 7 weeks, we did a confirmation ultrasound so I saw the heartbeat but couldn't hear it. I got a prescription to go have blood drawn at a lab and some samples of prenatal vitamins. At 8 weeks I had a follow up to go over lab work and fill out a bunch of forms (state of Florida stuff) My next appointment is at 12 weeks for the NTS ultrasound. I have heard of a lot of women who couldn't make their 1st appointment until 10 weeks though so I think that's more common.

I have to wait 3 more weeks and its killing me. I found out at my annual exam so they pushed it 4 weeks after that. I'm 7w today.

I'm not going until 10 weeks 2/26 but they wanted me in sometime this week but couldn't with schedules but my receptionist did say she wanted me in before 11 weeks if I wanted to do some of the blood work tests becuz after that they don't test for that after 12 weeks I will get my first us first before seeing the OB with my first son I think I was about 8 weeks and had a vaginal us and then went back around 14 then again at 20 to find out sex so everywhere and every doctor most be different!

Got all my blood work and physical done by 8 weeks but now have to wait till 11 weeks to hear the heart beat for the first time, 2/26! I can't wait, I read all these stories of women hearing the heart beat at 6 and 7 weeks and I'm soo jealous!

Yep! I had an appointment with the nurse last week (I was 9 weeks) to go over family history and go through paperwork but my appointment with the doctor isn't until this Thursday (I'll be 10 weeks, 4 days)

I hear you! We are having our first and I have to wait until 13weeks before I can get into my first appointment. Im super bummed but I did get my name put on a wait list. So hopefully I can get in sooner

Yeah, I have to wait until 10 weeks too. Thankfully that is soon! Our first appt is this Friday the 13th (dun dun dun!). This is our first pregnancy and so far I haven't felt pregnant yet. So I am really excited and nervous for this appt. They told us we will get to do our first u/s so we can finally see and hopefully hear (heartbeat) the baby!
