38w2 update

in Pregnant after 35
Went to doc on Monday.

I am now 3cm, 70% effaced. I started losing the plus on Thursday and by this morning I think I've lost the whole thing. Of course it's still anyone's guess on when labor begins but it's progress and my instincts tell me it will happen before my scheduled induction on the 12th!

    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    that would be great for you.  I have been induced many a times and do prefer it when I don't have to be induced.  Getting induced is not tragic or anything and to me not that big of a deal pain wise...its just nice to spend a good portion of labor at home and not have to be hooked to monitors so you can be upright and moving during labor.

    Both of previous pregnancies were induced. I would love it, if I went on my own before induction, just so I can experience spontaneous labor once (because this is the LAST!).  At the same time, I'm not willing to go past my induction date, just so I can have that experience.  If they said they could induce tomorrow, I would do it! LOL

    Thank you, everyone, for the well wishes!  It's getting exciting around here!!  Next Thursday is induction day, if it doesn't happen on it's own before.  LESS THAN A WEEK and meet my little girl!!!

    I did go as long as possible with each pregnancy to avoid the inductions.  I would hold out until an ultrasound showed my amniotic fluid levels going too low or, as it happened with my 6th, I went 14 days past my due date!  Even then my dr offered to break my water and she said 98% of the time after that your labor will start on its own but if it doesn't in like 4 hours they have to start an induction.  14 days post due and not even breaking my water got that labor started!  Ended up induced!

    Wow!  That's crazy!  That LO just wasn't ready yet, huh!?

    I can't even imagine going 14 days past my due date, I would be absolutely bonkers by then!!
