  • My package includes 20 minute session, 10 photos, CD with still images for printing, Mommy's brag book to put photos in, diaper bag and gender confirmation. It's about $99 dollars for this package. As far as sonograms it depends on the doctor and insurance. It's common to only have 2-3 scans during pregnancy. Some insurances only cover two ( 1st trimester and anatomy) unless there are medical reasons to have others. I wouldn't really know what the norm is on scans as I have typical always had more than normal due to being high risk. So far I have only had 2 with this baby but I know my OB is planning to one more towards the end for measuring purposes.
You get so much with your package! I've looked into some of them here and you get like 20-30 minutes, photos, DVD, and then option to buy the stuffed animal with the heartbeat. I think I still need to do some looking around because it seems like there have to be better packages out there for less than what I found them priced for here.

Is this pregnancy high risk too? If you don't mind me asking what made the others high risk? I really thought I would be because of my weight, PCOS, and the fact that I've had a mc before, but they didn't seem concerned about any of it.

Not going to lie, I thought that is what she meant too, but after reading the recipe I forgot about the buffalo sauce lmao.

@mrsphillips610‌ Different reason for each pregnancy. My first DS I was very young and went into preterm labor. My second DS had hydrochepalus ( water on the brain) so I was monitored by a high risk doctor every month after 21 weeks. He had a shunt placed five days after birth and was in the NICU. He is 13 now and fine. They determined it was not genetic. When my DH met and we had DD they sent me to the same high risk doctor I saw with DS. They sent me as a precaution due to his birth defect. She was fine although I did go into preterm labor again and was put on meds and partial bed rest. With DD #2 I had placenta previa until about 27/30 weeks when it finally moved. She was born with a large VSD ( ventricular septal defect, it's a heart defect) but is fine now as well. My next pregnancy with DS was fine. They did monitor him due his brother and sister having birth defects. Both birth defects were determined to be random and not genetic. He was fine. So I guess technically I myself was not high risk but they did several sonograms with them all except with my last DS and this baby. They also had me follow with the high risk doctor due to previous birth defects. I only saw him once with my last baby and since everything was ok I didn't see him again. I have not seen the high risk doctor at all with this one. So far other than fainting at lowes and mild BP issues I have been fine with this pregnancy. I did have placenta previa in the beginning but it moved by the time I had my anatomy scan at 22 weeks. I guess they classified me that way due to my previous children having some birth defects and the preterm labor issues I have had in the past. I have also had 3 miscarriages. I miscarried a few months before getting pregnant with this LO. They do not consider me high risk this time.

Sounds like youve had some rough pregnancies, but its so good to hear that your kiddos and you are doing so well now. Thats all that matters! Im sorry about your previous losses. Its so sad when that happens. Ive had one known loss, but still am in denial at times that it was really a baby. I hate what a loss does to your mind. Im so very thankful for a healthy pregnancy now though! Thank you for sharing your story about your pregnancies with me. Im going to keep you in my thoughts!

  • @mrsphillips610‌ Thank you for your kind words! Yes some of them were rough and emotional roller coasters at times but so completely worth it! I am so thankful they are all healthy and happy now! So far this pregnancy hasn't been that complicated. I was so shocked, scared, happy, and excited all at once when we first found out because we weren't planning another baby. However I thank god for this little blessing! The only thing I want is a healthy baby and safe delivery:)

  • I didn't want to start another "F'd up brain" thread, so I'll tell you my supposed dinner and screw up together. I'm pissed. I have a chicken sandwich craving like every other day. My DH just got home from a rough week of out of state, so I made a late dinner. DD won't go to bed the nights he comes home without seeing him first. So quick and easy dinner: Chicken breast sandwiches on a pretzel bun. I had 3 chicken breasts left. Made theirs first of course, and went to put ketchup on mine and grabbed the freaking dawn instead. No chicken sandwich for me.
