Well I really like Malcom but my mother and mother-in-law don't care fore it. Christopher is a maybe. My husband is all for Bruce (mostly because if it's a boy the middle name has be Wayne (family thing) but I don't know if I want our kid to be Batman.
If it's a girl possibly Liliana, Ellie, Emily and I'm trying to talk him into Elouise but no luck lol.
Oo, I love Decklyn! If I wasn't team green I would use that name. I like all the babies things personalized so we have chosen a unisex name so we can embroider everything!
@nelch84 Welcome to the internet. You cannot dictate people's responses. If you post a ridiculous name people will make fun of you....just like in real life.
Would you tell someone in real life that you don't like their child's name? I doubt it! So why would we lose our manners just because we are on the internet and not face to face. I just think it's very easy to ignore things that you don't like and not insult people so we can keep this place as a positive, uplifting environment.

This is a discussion board...if you don't want a name discussed then you should keep the name to yourself.
I should preface this by saying I'm not judging anyone's name choices:
I have a "unique" name. It isn't difficult to pronounce or difficult to spell, but people still get it wrong CONSTANTLY. My relatives couldn't spell it properly on my Christmas presents until I was in middle school. Twice in the past year, I have run into acquaintances I haven't seen in a while and they have actually forgotten how my name is pronounced. I have had to correct every teacher who has ever read my name from an attendance list on the first day of class, usually over the course of several days. There is one guy at work who always spells my name wrong in emails and I want to push him down the stairs.
It sucks. My parents worked so hard to give me a beautiful, special name, and I have spent the last 29 years hating it! I truly think that if you can't learn how to spell or pronounce someone's name properly, you are lazy and you need to work on yourself, but I also wish I'd been named "Jane" or something. So before you go for that unique name, remember that not everyone will think your kid is as special as you do and they may have to spend the rest of their lives correcting people! Or not correcting them and hating them silently.
I like Quinn or Harper for a girl. No idea for boy names but my fiancée wants Wallace for the middle name, and I'm not too crazy about it. I can't think of anything good to go with it.

Quinn is a unisex name you can use it for a boy too.

Conversely, I was given a Finnish name by my parents that everyone constantly mispronounces (except for finns, hungarians, estonians...). Every teacher I ever had would spell it wrong, or pronounce it wrong. People I've worked with for months still say it wrong. I was teased by kids in school because my first and last name were "weird".
But I FUCKING LOVE my name. It speaks to my heritage, and I'm so glad my parents didn't name me something that was 'easy' for other people.
I will admit though, that I'm not really a fan of the 'youneek' (i.e., made up) spelling of names.
IMHO there is a huge difference between people not spelling or pronouncing your name right because it is a legitimate name from your heritage vs. your parents just wanting to be youneek. One comes with a sense of pride...the other, well...embarrassment and trouble finding a good job.
This post is fucking ridiculous! Good god, I hope these are all trolls and AE's and not real names that most of you have said you will be giving to your spawn. I weep for the future.

I also like the name Declan for a boy
Tourmaline you can take your rude attitude and leave. This is supposed to be a place of support!

Please do not insult the names people choose for their children. If you don't like it, you can just keep that to yourself!
Rylynn, Kendyl, Melynnda are names DH and I both like for a girl.
Myles, Dyllan, and Axyl are names we both like for a boy.
Married to my honey since 6-11-11
I think they're pretty in signatures, and I have a Y in my name and DH has an L so we thought it would be cute to use them in baby's name :-)

I wish I loved my name. But it just makes me sad. And it is a legit name with a pedigree and a real meaning and everything!
