I didn't do a search to see if this has been posted yet, but I figured I'd make a new post anyway since we are all further along now and have had more time to think about it. 

What name are you choosing for your LO? If you don't know the sex yet which names are you really leaning towards for boy names or girl names? 

Do you have personal ties to the name you chose (family names or anything else?)

I'll go first! 

I'm having a baby girl due EDD May 14th and my DH and I have chosen the name Emily Brooke. 

Super common, but 6 years ago when DH and I got together we just knew that we wanted to have a baby girl and wanted to name her Emily. After trying fertility treatments and being told we wouldn't have a baby and finding out that we are pregnant...we already knew what we wanted.

I'm having a baby girl and were calling her Holly Bethany she is due 5th May and will be our first baby

My husband and I chose our future children's names waaay back when we were dating and 17... and to this day we still love them and they've stuck. We're now going to be first time parents to a little boy named, Aiden Maddox. I'm completely in love with the name.

Our first baby is due May 20th. We will name her Arya (Aria? The spelling has suddenly become a concern) and give her my Maiden name, Wild for her middle name. My husband's idea as he loves it and wants it to be part of her name.

This will be our 4 the child its a boy calling him Benjamin Samuel just fell in love with the name he is due may 12 same day as my first child

This is our third boy, due May 6th and we have chosen Ashton Taylor. No ties to family. It just seemed like it fit us

We don't know if we're having a boy or girl but...

If it's a girl: Penny Lynn (I found a penny heads-up the day we found out we were expecting! And my Dad's middle name is Lynn)

If it's a boy: Jack Elliot (DH's name is Elliot)
Orr Finley Roy (DH's Grandpa and middle name is Roy)

I'm loving all of the names! 

After finding out that we were having a girl I started thinking of about 5,000 baby girl names that I loved, but DH is set on Emily and its such a beautiful name. 

I sort of wanted to name her Natalie or Zoey. DH was okay with Zoey, but it just doesn't feel right. She feels like an Emily to me.

We've decided on Ella Elaine for our daughter. I've always liked older names, and this one just felt perfect
I was stuck between Ella and Mia (me-uh) but DH liked Ella better. So I've decided next round for a girl Will be Mia or Lilith. ❤

Also due 5/5/15 and team green. For a boy we are using Jasper Michael (middle name is my grandads, he's v important to me!). If a girl, we are a little stuck - either Felicity Maria or Ivy Maria or maybe even Penelope Carolina?

Maria and Caroline are family names (nan and mum) so they're non negotiable. Having trouble with finding a first name. We love felicity at the mo though, just not sure which mn to use.

Really love the name Grace, it is the middle name that I considered for Emily.

First baby due May 10th. Olivia Quinn or Olivia Noelle. We picked Olivia about two years ago when we first started getting serious and thinking about future children and we still love it! Quinn for my s/o who's middle name is Quinten, but he likes Noelle better which is my middle name, we've been undecided between the two since we found out she was a girl!

Well we were told our baby has a 80% chance of being a girl so we have been trying to find a name as it keeps changing and we are having a bit of difficulty agreeing... Our current idea is Zyra but name might be a little too different and I know those kind of names don't go well around here haha middle name either Isabelle/Hope/Leanne after important family members. For boy we decided Leon from beginning and partners grandad was to choose an Aboriginal middle name (DH is Aboriginal).

Everyone has great names, love them all! Our boy due May 5 will be named Andrew James II (A.J.) after my husband. We call my hubby Drew. I've always loved it!

Scheduled csection on May 18th. Her name is Riley Jean. Jean is also my middle name and my grandmothers name. She just passed on December 20th. I found out I was having a girl the 22nd. I feel she had something special to do with that.
Riley will join big brother Rory Clifford. Clifford is my Dad's first name.

Donovan Grant. Donovan we just found the name and loved it- it's Irish (as is my husband) and means "of the dark one" (I'm Mexican). haha. So we thought that was a cute coincidence. Middle name Grant for General Grant.

Due May 4th with my 6th and last! We decided on Emilia ( pronounced with the E like in England not an A sound like in Amelia). Her name will be Emilia Grace. No family ties exactly but my sisters name is Emily. My granny and DH picked the middle name.

Awww I love all these names! I'm due may 31 with a little girl, calling her Melody Christine Sheri. Christine Sheri after me/my mom. First baby, naming her was so hard, we had a boys name picked right away

I think Zyra sounds beautiful. It is different, but its easy to guess how to pronounce it and its not too different that its borderline weird.

I LOVE the name...especially Melody! 
I had the opposite problem that you had...it was so easy for me to pick a girl name, but hard to pick a boys name!

This is our second child, and her name will be Lyla Raine. I always loved the name Lilian, but when I heard the name Lyla in the movie August Rush years ago I just fell in love with it. DH always wanted a girl named Raine so we compromised and made it the middle name. She'll join her brother Rowan Alexander May 22nd!

We are naming dd Elsie Amelia. Elsie after my grandmother and Amelia because I love the name. I am due end of April, but hoping she stays put until 5/1 so both my kids will be May babies.

I'm in love with the name Zachary but I'm unsure about his middle name. The one I like is super popular as a first name so I'm still thinking of others. But as of right now his name is Zachary Logan

Due date twins! I actually have considered Renee. I think I want it to be something pretty feminine since Sloane is not. I have thought of Alexandra or Ivy or Norinne ( < family name).

We need something pronounceable in the us germany and Spain. ;-)

My cousins name is Zachary Wade. I think its cute!

I'm due May 2nd with a baby boy and I'm naming him Kendall Joshua, regardless of the side eyes I've gotten over the name. Not only am I completely in love with it, but its origin is masculine, despite the popular belief.
