I had the Maternit21 for my twins (very similar to Panorama). I had the testing done at 10 weeks and found out the results by 12 weeks. Honestly I think the NIPT is better than NT scans for twins so it's strange the PP mentioned the OB wouldn't test on multiples. We had a negative screen (no abnormal chromosomes detected), but I would assume if the screen was positive on multiples they would need to do an amnio or further testing to see which baby was affected.

My doctor said they can do the NT scan measurement, but any blood testing wouldn't be accurate because they wouldn't know which one of the babies the result came from. So we're doing the the scan portion, but no blood work.
To further clarify my above posts. Yes, the NIPT works great for twins, but if you do have chromosomal abnormalities (a "positive" screen), yes, they wouldnt' be able to tell which baby had the trisomy and would require an amnio. Personally even with a singleton pregnancy I would get an amnio if my baby tested positive for a trisomy because the NIPT aren't 100% accurate even with a singleton. The test simply looks for abnormal DNA - with one baby, two babies, or more. If you don't have any abnormal DNA present, the test can easily determine that both babies are healthy (from a trisomy standpoint).
The NT scan without the blood work (as mentioned previously, the blood work portion of the NT is NOT accurate for twins) can only detect 80% of the cases of downs syndrome. The NIPT (panorama, maternit21, etc) detect over 99%. The 80% number wasn't enough for DH and I so we opted for the NIPT. If you prefer a NIPT then push for it - even with multiples.
