Okay women who have been or are pregnant and dealing...
I haven't had any issues up until the last few weeks when she really has dropped and I have become more constipated. I still go everyday, and I make sure when the urge is there, to find a bathroom - and I don't necessarily force myself through it either. I don't have any hemorrhoids on the outside -- gross, I said it. Who knows what's taking place on the dark side, haha. But anyways, I used the bathroom today and there wasn't any bleeding on the toilet paper, but in my stool. I haven't had this before, and I don't necessarily want to make a trip to the hospital as we are in the middle of a winter storm...is this something I should be concerned about, or normal with constipation? I have a check up on Wednesday for an exam and induction talk, is it something I can just monitor and if it worsens, call? Thanks ahead of time.
Re: 40 Weeks + 4 days - Constipation [lovely I know, warning - poop talk]
Try some colace daily & plenty of water. It could be the consistency of the stool (hard/scratchy) that makes the stool harder to pass & rougher on the tissues of your rectum. Thus, small bleeds.
Mention it to your provider but unless it happens consistently then I would not panic.
