Re: How are you?
@Km672 How are you doing?
I'm doing ok. Like always I work too much. Luckily, this weekend I do not have to work at all. Hooray!!
I emailed my RE Sunday night to she would/could pass a message onto the donor that I became emotionally invested in, hoping I can talk her into reconsidering her decision and donate her eggs again. My RE said she'd pass it on. I've been patiently awaiting a response. Despite hitting refresh on my email a million and one times I haven't heard anything.

((hugs)) @mm29
I found out yesterday that I've lost my IVIG coverage, which is just fantastic since my NKC has increased with each cycle and prednisone alone isn't doing much anymore. When I tested a week after IVIG, an intralipid infusion, and 20mg of prednisone they were at 28 (target is under 15). I have 2 doses of IVIG left right now and I am pretty sure they will want me to do 2 infusions before transfer. That means after my next attempt at FET, I will be OOP for IVIG. I am pissed that my HR didn't tell us that our insurance this year would include preauthorization when our previous plan didn't. I could have put in a refill before the end of the year and at least had 4 more doses to work with. There was no way for me to see this coming since our nothing changed with our insurance (even the plan numbers stayed the same) and the only change they told us about was a change in copay/deductible/coinsurance.
Non infertility related, I am busy with work as usual this time of year.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
@mm29 I have everything crossed!
@Twinkie0612 I am so sorry. This is terrible news. Have you heard of or read The Autoimmune Solution by Amy Myers. Even though I don't have an autoimmune diagnosis, I want to throw everything at this next cycle. I might give it a go....
AFM ****Loss Update**** Beta was still at 32 this week. I keep thinking AF is coming but she never does. I'm 4 weeks passed the d&c, but I am supposed to ovulate first. I don't know. This has been so frustrating on top of everything else. I'm very anxious to get my normal cycle back.

@Twinkie0612 - ugh!!! I'm so sorry about your insurance. This kind of stuff makes me crazy! That's incredibly frustrating!!
@luvboston's suggestion could work out for you... Maybe something to consider?
@ronniesgirl1981 - so sorry you're still going through this. I hope things progress and things go back to normal.
My KK appt is later this month. I haven't really had a period since my failed FET in October. When I saw my new gym in dec, she wasn't concerned. I just don't care to be honest. Fx it doesn't arrive for my appt
I receive disappointing news at work last week and now I have serious job security issues.
I was really hoping to throw myself into my work and have a new & positive focus, so I'm pretty upset about this.
Hang in there ladies- >:D<

@mm29 Any response from the donor? I am sorry you have had so many setbacks.
I'm wishing you all the best and think of each of you (and check in) often! I'm bummed to see the board so quiet after all the drama.

@luvboston I plan on filing an appeal, but the nurse has mentioned that my insurance is one of the worst about covering IVIG. Also when they submitted my pre authorization, they sent in a bunch of the literature that they would normally send for the appeal trying to expedite the process. Right now there is some stuff going down at work that might cause a change in insurance, so I am going to wait to file the appeal until I know for certain that my insurance is staying the same. Dr. KK's office has a charge for letters, so it may cost me $77 for the appeal. Before spending the money, I'll wait to make sure it's with the right insurance company.
Even appealing, I may end up with at least some IVIG OOP since it can take awhile to go through the appeal process.
I just don't have much hope for the appeal making a difference since my pre-authorization already had to go through Cigna's doctor and was denied. I've read their requirements for IVIG coverage online and they are super strict and I don't meet them. It seems like the odds of an appeal making a difference isn't very good.
