swing-motor issues?

All the reviews I  have been reading on swings state that the motor goes bad pretty quick. Especally the amazon reviews on the Sugabunny/Snugabear/Snugapuppy swings.  Can anyone recommend a swing that lasts without the motor going out? Thanks a bunch!

Re: swing-motor issues?

  • I have a Bright Starts ingenuity cradle swing.  It was super quiet and sipped batteries.  I really liked it.

  • Our swing only lasted 2 weeks and 2 days... it was a graco kind...
A friend had the bight starts and it last her 2 years (with various of ppl using it).
We ordered the Nuna Leaf... simply for that reason.. no issues with a motor since there isn't one! a push is all it needs every once in a while.
And the other reason we got that is it last longer... it can hold up to 60lbs whereas most swings are max 25lbs.
  • We had the Fisher Price Snuggabunny. It lasted through four kids, and finally bit the dust a few weeks ago.
