9 month old suddenly not napping

My 9 month old daughter used to be a great napper...now, not so much. I understand that as she reaches certain milestones this is common, but I'm still seeking advice. Up until recently, she would sleep about 12 hours at night, a nap from 9-10:30am and then an afternoon nap from about 1-2. Usually, she'll still go down without a fight for her morning nap, but her afternoon nap has been awful. She is tired and still needs this nap. I've done the 5, 10, 15 letting her cry and it is not working. Usually, after 45 minutes of trying,I cave and let her sleep in my arms. Also, if it's dad putting her down, she'll sometimes not fight it. I know it's probably just a phase, and possibly separation anxiety, but does anyone have advice?
