How's everyone on the East coast doing?

It's snowing here in the Midwest, but nothing like what you guys are getting.

    We've been getting mixed reports for the past few days in the DC area, but it looks like we will make it out okay. The snow is just sticking to the street. I have been texting my bestie in Boston all day. So scary!

    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    We're just about to start the heavy part of the storm here. They're calling for 15-30 inches. I'm trapped with the 2 babies and just praying the electricity doesn't go out! DH plows so not only is he not home to be snowed in with us but I worry about him the entire time. He just left about an hour ago and I probably won't see him for a few days.

    Oh and we're running low on snacks!!

    We are chilling at my parents, DH is away and my parents have a generator and several doctors on their street they are also close to all major hospitals!

    Oh @ccam - I feel for you. I'm also in the 15-30 range.....although nothing bad so far. I feel pretty prepared; hit the grocery store....car has gas....generator is ready to go...firewood moved to garage.... And dinner is ready for the crockpot tomorrow so even if we do lose power (please god no)... We will at least be eating :) the part that sucks is that my office is closed tomorrow....but we still have to work at home....and daycare is closed. This is going to make a long day of trying to work with an almost 2 year old at home :/

    Hugs to everyone. Hope you all stay safe and have power. @ccam we love noodles (no butter or anything, often cold) as a yummy snack.

    I will refrain from commenting on my weather. If you need an update just turn to the ESPN as they are doing their pre-super bowl broadcasts a few miles from my house.

    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

     I'm really glad you aren't home alone in this mess, luv. Stay safe and hope you don't need to get to the hospital in this storm.

    11/13 beta #1  924!!!  2nd bet 11/15 1906, one more on 11/17 3rd & final beta 3430.  First u/s 12/5, 7w4d, 2 heartbeats,
    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    I guess winter is not over. We got at least a foot of snow yesterday. DH and I both spent an hour shoveling. It does look pretty, but the roads are still a mess.
