Babies with NEC and SSI

Any NEC mommies on here? Did your NEC baby qualify for SSI? I know a lot has to do with income, I don't work, I am full time student so I am not worried in that aspect. She was below the automatic birth weight, so she would have to qualify on her medical issues. She was in the NICU for 5 months, had 3 surgeries and a colostomy bag for 8 months. She had her entire cecum and ileocecal valve removed as well as 7cm of her ileum. She is 16 months and still has lingering health issues. Thanks!
