  • That's great that you have something from him, even if it isn't terribly girly

    GL with your letter

Interestingly he said he was going to have a frame made for it, so I just put it in a cheapo frame for now.  I figure we'll see what he comes up with.

I also just found out today that her BM has surfaced again and will be meeting with the case worker.  I'm interested to hear what happens...could mean a visit for E.  Which I have mixed emotions about.

  • That is so sweet of him to send a gift to E, even if it is a bit odd. A's birth father has yet to send her anything (even a letter) due to fear, so this probably took a large amount of courage on his part.
Birthmom to A, 1/8- the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

    Oh how true...how true!

  • In another exciting turn for us right now, this afternoon E will have the first visit (supervised) with her birthmom since July!  I'm very happy this is able to happen, but at the same time worried.

We wrote BM a letter about us and what's been going on with E and included a picture of her from her 6-month photos and a picture of her bedroom.  We're hoping that it gives her a little more comfort knowing where her little one is sleeping at night.  I will be picking E up from the visit, so I will likely get to meet BM again and I'm hoping it's a little less ackward than last time.
