First Appointments or u/s this week? 1/26-1/30

FTM so I've been trying not to get too excited until we see or hear this little guy. Still haven't been for the first appointment and won't until week 12! We're using a midwife so we probably will only hear the heartbeat for now but that will be plenty for us so excited and so anxious to wait another week!

We finally had our first appointment on Friday morning. I hadn't seen anyone yet so I was extremely nervous. We got to see the little peanut and hear the heart beat at 9w6d, heartbeat was very strong 180bpm! We finally spread the news to our extended families and are planning to take announcment pictures next weekend.
