I booked our Babymoon for April!! It's our anniversary that week so a duel trip. Anyone else doing a Babymoon or a quick getaway before the LO is here? It's 30 something degrees here with snow on the way so all I keep thinking is "there's no place like the Bahamas there's no place like the Bahamas"

So jealous! We haven't talked about it, but doubt we'll be able to go somewhere as amazing with twins.

That's great to have something to look forward to - especially going somewhere sunny and warm while it is cold here!

We went to London as it is our favorite city - and it was hurricane season in the Caribbean in the fall when we did our babymoon - and so glad we did go away and do something.

Hope you have a fun and relaxing time.  It will be here before you know it!

I'm so jealous! We had a mini moon (a long weekend out of town) planned but had to cancel it because of my restrictions. Have fun though and soak up some sun for me!

We are going to Puerto Rico for a long weekend! Just need to figure out if it'll be in March or April

OK, I feel like a selfish jerk, BC  I should just be glad I have a perfect baby in my tummy even though I have an imperfect cervix. 

and:

1. I live in FL so it's not even remotely cold here.

2. I want to go to Mexico

3. I should not be walking or standing or sexing up my DH anyway

4. Honestly, everything is so freakin' expensive this time of year (even a day trip) FL is $$$ in Winter

5. I need to buy all the baby gear, nursery, etc so , it's bad timing to spend more  money

But I still want a damn babymoon!

@1220winterbride‌ I totally understand. Minus the sunshine you have right now. Because it's snowing here where I live. Lol. We have to get all that stuff too still but I'm not due until August. Plus we get a chunk of change back from taxes that we plan to put towards the baby stuff. I'm really trying to keep all the baby stuff minimal since I'm a FTM. Hope you can at least getaway for a night!

I didn't do an official "babymoon" but we did go to FL for a long weekend a couple months ago to visit family. DS came too. We would've gone back in March, but baby will be here then so we'll have to wait until the fall to go back.

@Justone13‌ when I went to the Bahamas it was April and it was simply amazing. So beautiful and relaxing.

@1220winterbride‌ yes, hush, you're in FL. Haha! I'm kidding! You still deserve a vacation. It's hard work growing a baby. Perhaps you can take a belated one. ☺️

Yes! We booked a vacation to my friends wedding on a Secrets Resort in Mexico in May! We held off booking it until Jan because I really figured I would have been too far along to go. So I will be in the beginning of my 5th month. I've thought of as the silver lining for it taking us this long, at least we can go now.
Pretty excited for it!

I went to Italy when I was 16 weeks. We booked the trip way before my BFP because I didn't want to feel held back by stupid IF anymore. Luckily, the timing was perfect- I felt good and wasn't too big to do everything I wanted to do. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

We didn't because of my bleeding issues. We wanted to go to an island but didn't want to risk flying or being out of the country and have a problem that needed medical attention. We live in a cold winter climate so we looked at places within a few hour drive but I'm not a winter person so I only want to spend money to go on vacation where it's warm! Id just as much rather stay home!

I got the ok to travel today from my OB, so we will hopefully be flying to AZ next. Not really a baby on per se as we will be staying at my moms winter home, but I want to go tell her our news in person and look forward to sitting in the sun and doing absolutely nothing!

We are planning a trip to London (and maybe Paris) in April! We currently live in Boston with plans to move back to California (where I'm from), so we need to make our Europe trips now while it's so close. 

I also wanted to go somewhere where I felt like the healthcare was sufficient just in case anything went wrong. My husband really wanted to go to Costa Rica, but I didn't feel too comfortable with that worst case scenario.

6 days in Jamaica starting next Thursday.... I am so in need of this! The plus side to my husband traveling 90% of the time during IVF... flights and 6 days at a 5 star all inclusive... FREE. Which means lots of spending money for spa treatments!

@katemonster1‌ yes we are going to Nassau again. This is my third time. And second time with my DH. We stayed at sandals last time and will this time too. I love that place. It's freezing rain right now. Ugh. I want sunshine and a beach!
