Clever code word.

me, my wife, and our friends are trying to find a clever code word or phrase that I will send out to all of them Via group text message when it's time to head to the hospital. I thought it would be fun if I got some help from my friends on this site.

To help out we are having a boy his name will be Jackson (Jack) he's due March 18th.

The code doesn't have to be anything that has to do with his name, sex, or birthday. I just added it to maybe help with brainstorming.

OP must have reported them. Her page says 7 discussions started but she's only started 2. I believe it increases incorrectly like that when you report someone.

We are a military family. So to have some fun with a normally stressful event we were trying to lighten the mood by giving the experience a code name like a military operation. We were having fun coming up with stuff and I thought it would be cool to spread the fun and see what other people come up with... I said "friends" because we are all going through the same thing. And by the way I'm a guy my wife is in the military she's under a lot of stress and coming up with code names was making her laugh. If that's wrong then I don't care.

I get wanting to have something fun for the whole labor process. I even get code words. DH and I use them pretty frequently. 

But a bunch of strangers that don't know anything about the specifics of your life can't come up with something "clever" for you.

I personally like @Whitfry‌ suggestion if you do plan on doing this completely stupid way of telling friends in a group text you are going to the hospital.

Yeah you're right. I agree with you. We were just having fun in the moment and I thought maybe it would start a funny thread. Instead I realized a lot of people on here are just looking to judge people and cause problems. aww well... sticks and stones I guess... You can all have your opinions of me without knowing me I don't care I'm a good guy and a good husband and I'll be a great father. I'll end this with Good luck to all of you. I hate group texts especially when old people are involved that just don't get it and think it's a personal conversation. Tall about your phone blowing up from ransom people you don't even know.


Also, op this is dumb. If you're only texting people you want to know then why even need a code word at all?

And you just provided great examples of why this "code word" idea is ridiculous. Jack Attack? Pop goes the weasel? Really?? If you can type out pop goes the weasel you can type out "heading to the hospital".

I get it... I don't get asking strangers about it. MH shaves his head, amongst our close friends I call him "bald eagle". It's funny in our group. I can't imagine that it's funny to anyone else or that someone else would come up with that stupid shit for us.
