I miss the daily threads...

Ticker Changes, Symptoms, Appointments, Monday Bitchfest, Twatwaffle Tuesday, WTF Wednesday (HDBD later), Throatpunch Thursday, FFFC or Furbaby Friday, Weekend Randoms... I've seen a weekly symptom thread somewhat recently...but its since been buried in older pages.

Did I miss something where it was decided to discontinue these or is it just because of all the drive-bys? I miss posting my daily ish in the appropriate thread!

That's where losing the regs affects tb directly. Someone would need to step up and start doing them in order for that to change. Honestly, if you miss them enough to start a post about it, why don't you start one?

I started a Weekend Randoms one last week and had hardly any response...or at least no response like before...just figured no one would use them anymore even if they were posted. I might start them anyway, for anyone who might be interested...

@JaxxM I'm starting to get a sense that you're a very cynical person. I realize people are still ticked about the changes that took place. That all happened the day after I joined. So I don't have any frame of reference for how things used to be.

Instead of complaining about how things are now why not take initiative to keep the things you loved about this board in place.

And please don't lump all of us "noobs" into the same category. I'm new here and am looking to get as much out of this community as possible.

That's why TB sucks for inciting a mass exodus of regular members. Believe it or not, those "mean girls" were important to this community.

@abbycjones what may be hard for a new member to understand that what was loved that is gone are all the regs that made this a community. There is no getting that back.

I think start them if you want them. Or come someplace where they're already happening. But, as is obvious from some threads above yours, it might not go great long term. Because everyone wants to post their individual question and don't want to be told that they could post it in a daily thread. Keep fighting the good fight if you can stand it, I wish you luck.

Not a cynic, but I've seen a ton of 'why should I not post every single thing that comes to my mind in a separate post' threads.

Bump  I cants say I miss them, never saw many of them but I think they should come back. I will do thursday ticker change, I see someone has taken to the thursday throat punch, I didn't know of the others. I hope to see them come back too. I know a lot of regulars left but this is a dynamic community, ebb and flow.
