LO smacking me

In the face or clawing at me. I gently pull her hands away and say a firm NO but then she laughs at me.... Obviously don't want her to think this is funny but know she probably doesn't understand either. Any other suggestions?

    I get this a lot too.  LO is slap happy and loves to claw my face.  I usually just try to set him down.

    I kind of egg on the fingers in the mouth by messing with him when he does.  Although lately he's started to fish hook me.

    Duuuuude.  This is my life.  I tell him "we touch mama's face nicely" and then show him how to touch nicely by rubbing his hand on my face.  If he keeps it up I just try to switch to some other activity that doesn't involve him being so close to my face.

    I had heard if you just pop their hand that's a really effective way to teach babies things.. 

    But for real, I do no and redirection not that it's helping yet. I just try and keep her dragon talons trimmed so she isn't scratching me too hard.

    They are too little to understand no. Just redirect. And keep nails trimmed so you dont get your eye nearly clawed out like me.

    She loves putting her hands in my mouth and having me play bite her hands... I know I should probably stop doing that so I don't encourage biting later on... but Oh her giggles are just so wonderful.

    Same here. Smacking, fish hooks, skin pinching while nursing... I think he had his first tantrum while nursing because I wouldn't let him pinch my boob skin or pick at a couple moles! Sorry, kid.

    Ohh yeah I forgot about the boob pinching!!!
    My LO scratch my boob with one finger like mom these us fun !!

    I keep getting socked in the eye with the TV remote and her plastic VTech phone. I'm surprised nobody's had to ask if DH beats me yet, lol.
