I'm glad to see some familiar faces sticking around and trying to rebuild it.. I had a little look at the other page and it was weird and confusing .. Hopefully more people will start joining in and not feel so intimidated I mean there were 555 people who posted what sex their baby was when they found out in the poll.. Don't know why that got deleted :-/

That sounds awesome!! I like these ideas! I love to thrift shop and my husband is a carpenter/contractor so we do a lot of DIY!! Love it!!!! I say go for it!!

I am back from a 10 day hiatus because we just moved from GA to PA.  I saw that first big wave of shiza hit the fan, but upon my return today things are looking pretty different!  I don't know how I feel about it....I usually agreed with some of the more aggressive regs in that repetitive posts, dear diary posts, questions that belong in the google search bar etc...are lame, annoying, and boring, but I didn't like the negativity. Sooooooo......I don't know which place is going to be a better fit for me.  We shall see.

i think change is good. it got a little too clique-y around here. if you weren't able to post 24/7 and respond to every thread you kind of got short shrift. this should be a friendly place where you can drop in when you can and not feel like you have to post constantly to be part of the in-crowd.

Who's to say one persons post is more important than the next?! I never understood this thinking. Everyone that comes here, comes from different walks of life. What's useless information to one, isn't useless to another. While it may be a repeat topic, if we didn't have repeat topics, then what good is having a forum to post to? Everything has been covered, it's the support here and now that people sometimes need. Sometimes someone just needs to vent and let their frustration out. And if doing so to a bunch of pregnant strangers helps, then wonderful. I'm glad.

I stopped contributing when I realized the expectation was 24/7 participation.
