Double Stroller

**Yes, the dead horse is getting kicked. I tried looking for an old post but the damn app is not working right for me. If you can point me in the direction of the OP, that would be awesome sauce.


With the BRU sale event, I'm hoping to make a purchase. Of course Baby Jogger isn't participating, but I wanted to get opinions on others as well before making that hefty buy.
What's your stroller, or what are you looking at getting yourself?

I got myself the uppababy vista, using it as a single but it has multiple double options (tandem)

I don't know personally but my two best friends live by the Citi Mini double stroller.

Get a baby bargain's book.  It really helps.

DH and I are going this weekend to exchange one of my old strollers from my first at the BRU event. I'm probably going to get a tandem double. I'm a huge Britax fan but am planning to check out others when we go. My 1st won't be in the stroller to much so I really like the Britax b ready with optional back seat.

I got the Uppababy Vista which has options to add a second seat. I've also heard nothing but good things regarding the City Mini Double Stroller.

It will depend on the ages of you kids and the purpose of the stroller. We have a phil & ted that we love when the baby is able to sit through toddler stage. We also have Schwinn double jogging stroller that is good for more rugged events and holds two larger kids. Most of the time we just have two umbrella strollers and find it easier that way. Our kids are 6, 4, and 2.

I somehow ended up with 3... City Select, a City Mini Double and a BOB Flex double ... Oops!

The City Mini was highly recommended to me, but it's waaay over my budget. The next one that was recommended to me was the Contours Options LT stroller, so that's what we chose. We have a double jogger stroller that attaches to a bike, so we'll use that as our jogger stroller, but we really needed a tandem stroller to get around in crowds (mall, zoo, etc.).

Britax B agile has been an awesome stroller for one kiddo. My girl is 3.5 and she still enjoys riding in it (and fits.. Which is crazy because she is huge for her age). It is lightweight and easy to open/close. That open and close feature on this stroller was a life saver when she was a baby. We had an Eddie bauer travel system at first and I quickly sold it because I was so annoyed with the size and how it closed.

I just got a Contours Options Elite Double stroller. So far it is amazing!

I am obsessed with the search for a double stroller. It's so much harder than it was to decide on a single. We have the Orbit which I considered convertinf to a double, but it's wicked heavy. I do not like the tandem rides because it seems like one kid gets a crappy seat. So, focusing only on side-by-side options. We like the Bumbleride Indie Twin, Bugaboo Donkey (we have the Bee and absolutley love it, so I know the quality is good) and Valco Tri Mode EX Twin (being renamed to Valco Baby Duo Twin X for 2015). Lucie's List has a good rundown of double stroller options.
