So we heard from the national agency yesterday about our profile being shown in a situation where the expectant mother is due next month. It's funny..... we went two years with our local agency and only had 3 showings. We've been with the national agency for 6 weeks and this is our 9th showing. They don't usually contact you about showings unless you are selected but they wanted to double check one thing before going ahead.
I can't describe how much I want this situation to work out. I really feel like we could be a good fit in this situation.
The emotional roller coaster is exhausting!! We won't hear back until next week some time so there's really nothing much to do but hold my breath and wait. FX!
DH and I always said we didnt know which was better- knowing you were being shown and feel nervous about it, or not knowing and being surprised by "the call".
After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption! We are so excited to see what the future holds.
