  • My attitude towards food tends to be: you eat what is served to you during mealtime. If you don't want to eat, then don't, but you're not getting anything else till the next meal. I figure if they're hungry, they'll eat. (Of course, there are certain circumstances where this doesn't work for a kid, ex. if the kid is underweight and needs lots of calories at each meal per doctor's orders.) On the flip side, I generally try to make sure there's at least one food on the table that I know they like.

My understanding is that it's common for young children to regress on potty training when a new kids is brought home. I haven't gone through potty training at all so I don't have much in the way of advice. Maybe just try to do whatever it was to train her in the first place, ex. LOTS of praise when she does go in the toilet?

When it's time to do something for/with the toddler, I've been advised to tell the baby that it's their siblings turn for XYZ and that they (the baby) will have to wait. Not that the baby understands, but I've heard it helps the sibling to know that sometimes they come first.

I hope that helps a little. Good luck and hang in there!
  • Tks lady I'm new to this ill post on multiples board :)
